With the augment of thousands of apps that keep popping up in our lives every day our buying pattern has completely changed. We shop, order food, book a cab or a hotel online. There is an app for all our needs, which has changed consumer behaviour completely. Cloud computing has made it possible for us to set up work anywhere and everywhere, if we look at it, life has been simplified for us in the last decade or so.
We have embraced the tech future and our ready to roll with it. But, is it enough? Do we need to do more? The answer to these questions is yes. Yes, we need to do more. We need to ensure that the coming generation is proficient in the usage of these emerging technologies. So that their future is secure.
Educational Reform: It is high time that reforms are introduced in our education system, children entering kindergarten will get to see a different world from today. They need to be prepared for it. Hence a closer look at our education system is required it needs a complete overhaul, which means we should start teaching children creativity, innovation, problem identification, and problem-solving skills, in addition to things like interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Education Innovation: If we think of education innovation we must think of education reforms, they both go hand in hand, one is incomplete without the other. We all know that future jobs will be technology based and these innovations will safeguard the future possibilities of the child and help him thrive in this rapidly changing world.
Parents Awareness: Parents cannot afford not to be involved in their child’s education, they have to be actively involved and send him to a school which will prepare him for a futuristic tomorrow. Our education system is going through a tectonic shift and hopefully will soon provide children with the courses that will help them in the future which is deeply embedded in technology.
Prepare Children For The Future: We must prepare children for tomorrow, we need to teach students how to learn other than what to learn. We must ensure that a child is not ignorant of the basic facts of the world he is going to enter into, that will be pure sacrilege. He needs to be prepared and prepared well. Period.
Things are changing and will keep changing, we are envisioning a future of education that will be completely different from ours. However, it’s high time that steps be taken to safeguard the future of coming generations and prepare them for their future role. We are seeing an exponential growth in technology which means that technology in fad today might be completely redundant tomorrow. Therefore, we need to choose carefully the future course of action for our child.
